This Capt Sully / Miracle on the Hudson Story Still Brings a Tear to My Eye

The cockpit communications from last week's miraculous plane landing on the Hudson River were released and I am even more impressed with this pilot than I was before, and still cannot believe everyone survived. To think that he was trying to land a plane in a river as he kept calmly talking alternatives with the tower is just mind-blowing to me. Although I didn't know US Air was still around, I think I'm going to be flying with them from now on.
Katie Couric snagged the first interview with pilot Chesley Sullenberger for 60 Minutes, and it will be aired this Sunday night. I'll be watching with a big box of kleenex.
